BIOLOGY AND ECOLOGY LAB

Thousands of micro-organisms, hundreds of plants and piles of dishes are just the appetiser to the main course we will be serving in the biology and ecology lab of PCN "Lukasiewicz"! For all lovers as well as "freshers" of experimentation.

Who can use the biology and ecology lab?

The biology and ecology lab at PCN Łukasiewicz was created for both the youngest explorers of the world of biology and the older ones. 
For the biology and ecology workshops we invite in particular:

• primary school students, 
• biology enthusiasts,
• fans of ecology, 
• all those wishing to learn more about our world. 

What are we going to do at the biological-ecological workshop?

We offer amazing fun combined with science - this is where you will learn, among other things:

• Grades 1-3: The effects of climate change and the ins and outs of laboratory work 
• Grades 4-6: A biological foam factory, the micro-world inside a drop of water and how plants produce oxygen
• Grades 7-8: how to isolate banana DNA, secrets of detective work and the colourful world of microorganisms 

What do I need to know to take part in the workshop?

We do not require any special biological or ecological knowledge. Everything will be explained by the workshop leader. At the start of each experience, the facilitators will instruct participants on what to look out for and will also provide a detailed scenario for the exercise.
