What do we do in the workshops?

The youngest participants of the workshop will find plenty of building blocks from which they can build any robot they like and program it to their liking. The aim of these activities is to develop manual skills, reading comprehension and cause-and-effect thinking. For the more demanding participants, we have prepared activities to take their skills to a whole new level. And when bricks are not enough, we bring in real robots. For electronics enthusiasts, we have prepared workshops on building electronic circuits and programming devices based on Arduino and STM controllers. During the classes, we use some of the most popular programming languages, i.e. C/C++ and Python. In addition to giving commands to robots, an equally important element is communication between the machine and the human. Therefore, during the classes, we teach the implementation of User Experience principles in the construction of devices.

What do I need to know to take part in the workshop?

The programme of activities has been prepared in such a way that no special programming knowledge or experience in robotics is needed for most workshops. Everything you need to get started will be taught in the classes. And if a workshop participant has already taken their first steps in robot programming, that's a plus for them.
