We invite not only parents, but also grandparents, aunts, uncles, older siblings, and all guardians to discover science together with their children! At the Łukasiewicz Podkarpackie Science Center, you can experience, experiment, and marvel together. It's a great idea for a family weekend, afternoon, or get-together with loved ones.

Exhibition

In the indoor exhibition area, families with children will find interactive exhibitions spread over three floors:

"Aviation" exhibition

Here you will learn the secrets of aerodynamics and see how airplanes fly. Aviation fans can take on the role of a pilot and test a flight simulator. The exhibition also provides a wealth of knowledge about how aviation developed and how a jet engine works.

"Nature" Exhibition

Discover the world on different scales – from microscopic structures to natural ecosystems. At the “Nature” exhibition, you will learn about alternative energy sources, how power plants and steam engines work, and eco-friendly solutions for the future. Based on the concept of the elements and divided into three zones (known, lost, and saved nature), the exhibition creates a coherent story about the Earth, its history, biodiversity, and the need to protect the environment.

The “I Live” Exhibition

The largest exhibition, which takes you through five thematic zones. Here you will discover the secrets of the human body and the physical, chemical, and biological phenomena that affect it, as well as learn about the functioning of the body, senses, and mind through interactive experiences. The division into sections facilitates the acquisition of knowledge and allows for a logical path of exploration.

Educational Toys – Little Explorers

An exhibition designed for the youngest science enthusiasts. Even 3-year-olds can begin to discover the world of knowledge with the “Little Explorers” exhibition, where interactive developmental exhibits await the little ones.

Educational trails

Not one, not two, not even three visits! When planning a trip to the Łukasiewicz PCN, you can take advantage of educational trails that will make every visit to the science center unique:

Workshops

For families with children, we have prepared creative workshops in five studios:

• chemistry lab,
• robotics lab,
• biology and ecology lab,
• physics lab,
• FabLab.

The workshops are held in shifts:

• Tue-Thu: 9:00 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 2:00 p.m.
• Fri: 9:00 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 2:00 p.m., 4:30 p.m., 7:00 p.m.
• Sat-Sun: 2:00 p.m., 4:30 p.m., 7:00 p.m.

Relaxation zone

There are relaxation rooms on each floor of the Indoor Exhibition Zone. They are ideal places to take a break while visiting. Comfortable armchairs, relaxing animations, and sounds will allow you to calm down and rest.

Tickets and prices

Regular ticket: PLN 35/person

Concession ticket: PLN 27/person.

Family ticket: PLN 90/4 people.

Ticket for 2 adults + 2 children (children under 18) + PLN 22.50 – ticket for each additional child as part of a family ticket.

Large Family Card: PLN 20/person.

Workshop activities: PLN 25/person.

How to buy a ticket?

Tickets are available online and at the PCN ticket office. Online purchases can be made no earlier than 30 days before the planned visit and no later than the day before arrival.
